STOCK MARKET CALLS

BSE Small-Cap index was down 1.11% while the BSE Mid-Cap index finished 0.78% down.CNX MIDCAP 50 index was down 0.86% and S&P CNX 500 was down around 1.56%. The SENSEX closed 298 points down at 16,030 and the NIFTY stood at 4858, down by 84 points.

BSE SENSEX and NIFTY tanked down on the session, and touched four month low, ended in red as traded over weaker global cues. Rupee hit a fresh multi month low as political issue in GREECE turmoil the markets. Rupee hit a low of 54.46 against the DOLLAR raising fears of foreign investors to cut exposures to the Indian shares. Auto, Metal, Capital goods and Banking stocks were the worst performing sector as major TATAMOTOR, JSW STEEL, SAIL and TATA STEEL been the top losers while BPCL and CAIRN INDIA capped the losses.

TATASTEEL with volume 51, 10,447 and changed -4.40%

SAIL with volume 46, 29,959 and changed -4.18%
